My Passion for Mixed Media
I love working in mixed media because I can combine elements that fascinate me. I enjoy using well-designed items and saving them from the trash heap. Included here are: air filters from my fridge (2 year’s worth – I couldn’t throw the first one out because it looks so much like a window); drink parasols; illustrations from the Funky Buddha Brewery’s beer carton; netting from lemon bags; color Xeroxes of jar lids (fingers with olive tips and lady in the window); photo of a walk-through futuristic building taken in a Texas airport..
Expressing creativity has many better health benefits. One of the most fun and easy activities is to work on age-appropriate activities for young children.
